Jim Sloan represented CPC at the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Jacksonville Post luncheon on September 9, featuring a NAVFAC Southeast industry brief presented by Jeff Killian, PE, CEM, Business Director for NAVFAC Southeast.
Titled “Navigating DON Work in FY27 and Beyond,” the presentation provided an overview of NAVFAC Southeast’s planned organizational transformation, emerging acquisition authorities, and projected design and construction workload.
The program also covered facility support contracts, architecture and engineering acquisition tools, environmental programs, global contingency contracts, and small-business opportunities. The briefing emphasized the importance of continued collaboration between NAVFAC and its industry partners as the organization prepares to deliver future military construction and critical infrastructure projects.
