CPC’s Metrology Quality Assurance Manager, Scott Dodd, and Senior Vice President of Business Development, Donna Hagedorn, recently attended the 8th Space Coast Symposium & Expo, held August 21 at the Radisson Resort at the Port in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Hosted by the Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce, the annual symposium brought together influential industry leaders, innovators, and professionals to explore the technologies, initiatives, and economic trends shaping the future of the Space Coast.
The information-packed program featured keynote remarks and presentations from leaders including Jared Isaacman, NASA Administrator, and Florida Secretary of Commerce Alex Kelly, as well as representatives from NASA, Kennedy Space Center, Lockheed Martin, Blue Origin, L3Harris, Northrop Grumman, Space Florida, FDOT, and other prominent national and international organizations.
Throughout the event, speakers and panelists shared new technologies, initiatives, and perspectives across space, technology, advanced manufacturing, defense, and science. Discussions addressed economic growth, national security, commercial collaboration, workforce development, advanced manufacturing, unmanned systems, and the continued expansion of Florida’s aerospace industry.
The symposium provided CPC with valuable insights to bring back to our team, along with opportunities to connect with professionals and organizations advancing innovation and economic development throughout the region.
