CPC’s Marketing Manager, Maria Scudella attended the 2026 WTS Florida Chapter Leadership Summit in Orlando, joining transportation professionals and leaders from across the state for a day focused on leadership, communication, professional development, and relationship building.
The summit featured an inspiring message from Erin Slayton, Chair of WTS International, who highlighted the importance of kindness as a powerful leadership tool. Dana Neiger followed with an engaging presentation on the role of leadership, communication, emotional intelligence, and relationships in professional growth.
Attendees explored practical strategies for building trust, adapting communication styles to different audiences, approaching difficult conversations with curiosity, and developing relationships that could become valuable career capital. One key takeaway was that professional reputations were shaped not only by the quality of our work, but also by our everyday interactions, our follow-through, and the way we made others feel.
